10,000 Uses for Water Blades #45: Save the SpongeDaddiofink
10,000 Uses Week 45: Save Yer Sponge!
Sooooooo I don’t know about you guys but I for one am not particularly fond of using a smelly dishwashing sponge for my everyday dishwashing needs. Food all too easily gets stuck in the little sponge pores and even on the abrasive side used for scraping, making the little thing slimy and forever giving off a foul odor for the rest of its lifespan. The thing is, this odor and texture don’t take long at all to develop and that’s really sucks!
But fear not! For yours truly, the self-declared masters of ingenuity from One Pass, are back with another hassle preventing tip!
Remember a few sentences ago when we were talking about the short life span of your everyday run of the mill double sided sponge? Well, we have just the thing for that! It comes in the form factor of the 9” “Mini” Gelblade we’ve designed specifically with kitchen tasks in mind! Like our other products, the 9” Gelblade is constructed of 100% Medical Grade silicone which does not support bacterial nor microbial growth making it the right tool for the job!
So essentially the operation is simple, use previously mentioned Gelblade as a food scraper to prolong the life of your sponges as a way to put off inconvenient trips to the grocer and avoid a bacterium ridden petri dish of a sponge. Oh yeah, not to mention you’ll be saving a little bit of $$ here and there if you’re buying sponges less frequently. If you keep that thing clean and clear of the foods only allowing it to be soaked in suds, then your dishes will be better cleaned and your wallet will be happy as a clam!
